Kiddi Caru Wellingborough Birdwatching

The preschool children at our Wellingborough nursery have been taking part in many exciting experiences this week, as part of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.

They had many ideas which they depicted in a floor book, and created a thinking tub about birds. The children looked at similarities and differences of birds such as colour, size, and where they live. They played a bird matching game, spent time bird watching in the garden, they fed the birds and left them some water out to drink.

The children also explored their creative side making birds using play dough and feathers!
