The children love exploring different textures. So, the team decided to enhance the experience by offering further opportunities for the toddlers to use their senses and vocabulary. They created a farm texture tray, following the little ones interest in farm animal stories. They felt the different materials and used new language such as “gritty”, “crunchy” and “fuzzy”. As well as, listening to how the items made different sounds when scrunched in their hands or under foot.
