The children at Kiddi Caru Redhill loved exploring the different herbs in the garden. They saw how the plants grew from seeds and understood that they need water and sunshine. They also discussed what the leaves felt and smelt like. They really enjoyed rubbing the mint leaves between their fingers and then smelling it on their skin. Many children thought it smelt delicious and reminded them of toothpaste.
