The babies have been very interested in the dolls within their room. They explored how the arms and legs move as well as dressing them in different outfits. The children have observed the staff throughout their daily routines and witnessed them comforting their peers. So, the little ones used these observations and their own experiences to role play soothing the dolls by cuddling and stroking their heads. Some of the older children used blankets to cover the dolls and rocked them to sleep. The children demonstrated great team work and sharing to make sure everyone was able to participate in the activity.
