We are pleased to welcome four Little Elms nurseries to the GrandirUK network. Each nursery will take on the Little Cubs name, while continuing to provide the care and early years education that local families know and trust. We look forward to welcoming their children, families and nursery teams as we begin this next chapter together.
A nursery is much more than a place to spend the day. It’s a place where children feel known and cared for, with a team who take the time to understand their interests, personality and the little things that help them feel at home. As we welcome these settings, we want to build on the care and connections that already mean so much to their families and communities.
A warm welcome to:
Little Cubs Day Nursery Crofton (Previously Little Elms Crofton)
Little Cubs Day Nursery Lee (Previously Little Elms Lee)
Little Cubs Day Nursery Wood Wharf Greenwich (Previously Little Elms Greenwich)
Little Cubs Day Nursery Catford Green (Previously Little Elms Catford Green)
Each nursery brings its own character, relationships and place in the local community. We look forward to getting to know the teams who make these settings so special and supporting their next steps as they join GrandirUK.
What the move from Little Elms to Little Cubs means for families
A new name is an exciting step, but we know families may feel uneasy during this period of change and will want to understand what it means for their child’s day. As the four settings become Little Cubs nurseries, familiar routines, nurturing relationships and welcoming surroundings will remain at the heart of nursery life. The team and quality of care will not change.
Those everyday connections matter. Feeling known and cared for gives children reassurance as they play, explore and try new things. Our focus is on building on those experiences, with the same commitment to high-quality early years education and care.
We also know that change can bring questions. We want families to feel informed and welcome to ask about this next chapter, whether their child has just started nursery or has been part of the setting for some time.
Locally led nurseries, nationally supported
For the four Little Cubs settings, this means building on their existing foundations while benefiting from investment, educational expertise and further opportunities for professional development. This support helps nursery teams strengthen their knowledge and continue providing high-quality early years education and care.
Being part of a wider network should not mean losing what makes a nursery feel like its own. To us, it means giving teams more support to build on what they do best, while keeping local relationships a priority.
Looking ahead together
“We are delighted to welcome Little Elms into the GrandirUK network. The nursery has built a strong reputation within its communities and shares our commitment to delivering exceptional early years education and care.
“Our locally led, nationally supported approach means local leaders can continue making decisions that are right for their children and families while benefiting from the investment, expertise and opportunities that come from being part of a wider network.”
