GrandirUK has once again achieved Great Place to Work® Certification for 2026/2027, recognising us as a Great Place to Work® Certified™ organisation in the United Kingdom. This recognition is particularly special because it reflects the experiences and views of our people, whose feedback is at the heart of certification.
We are also incredibly proud to announce that we have been named on the UK's Best Workplaces in Education & Training™ 2026 list in the Large & Super Large category. Together, these achievements give us an opportunity to celebrate our colleagues and the workplace culture we continue to build together.
Our colleagues' experiences and feedback are at the heart of this recognition. We are delighted to celebrate the care, dedication and teamwork they bring to GrandirUK, and the workplace culture we continue to build together.
Great place to work® Certification recognises the employee experience through employee feedback and independent analysis. The certification process includes the Trust index™ employee survey and a Culture brief questionnaire, which provides information about the workforce.
For job seekers, certification offers valuable external validation when exploring a potential employer. For us, it is meaningful because colleagues' voices shape the picture of what working here is like, helping us understand what matters to our people.
Colleague feedback highlighted fairness, trust and belonging as strengths of our workplace culture. Themes included fair treatment across different backgrounds and identities, a physically safe work environment, a warm welcome for new colleagues and trust to take responsibility in their roles.
Every role contributes to nursery life. Colleagues working with children and families, and those supporting behind the scenes, all help create nurturing settings where children can flourish, and teams can develop. Recognising that contribution is part of building an inclusive workplace where people feel valued.
For Becca, Nursery Manager at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Basingstoke, practical support has helped her continue a career she cares about while raising her family. In our September 2026 family-friendly benefits story, she shared how the childcare discount helped her bring her son to nursery after becoming a parent.
The blog also described the reassurance-enhanced maternity support offered as she prepared for her second child. Shared separately from the GPTW survey, her experience shows how workplace support can make a difference as colleagues' lives change. Read Becca's full story to learn more.
Colleague feedback is helping shape our next steps. Regional Managers and Support Office Managers have begun reviewing survey responses, including comments and suggestions, to develop regional and departmental action plans and strengthen the employee experience.
We want every voice to be heard and will continue encouraging colleagues to share their experiences. This commitment to continuous improvement sits alongside our investment in training, career development and wellbeing support, including a wellbeing day and a healthcare cashback plan.
To everyone who took time to share their thoughts, thank you. And to every colleague across GrandirUK, thank you for the care, creativity and commitment you bring each day. These achievements belong to our teams, and we are proud to celebrate them together.
