Pippa’s House Esher Open Day – Saturday 28 March

Our Nurseries; Surbiton

At Grandir UK, we provide three full-day nurseries offering a nurturing environment for babies and children in Early Years education. We are also proud to offer a breakfast and after school club for children aged 4–11 years, who attend nearby St Andrews and St Marks Junior School.

Our passionate nursery teams are committed to supporting the interests and learning needs of every child, ensuring they start their educational journey on the right foot and develop the skills needed to thrive.

Across our three welcoming nursery and preschool settings, we provide bright and spacious rooms with a variety of wonderful resources for your child to discover in each room. Our nursery rooms are tailored to suit children’s age and stage of development, to ensure activities are appropriate for their learning and development needs and interests. We have a dedicated curriculum to support every baby and child and children of every age are encouraged to explore and engage with activities they enjoy, discover new interests and skills, have fun with friends and enjoy nursery life.

Children at each of our Surbiton nurseries and preschools enjoy physical play and nature exploration in our beautiful outdoor spaces, including our planting gardens. We also provide more active sessions including yoga and PE sessions that ensure children’s physical health and wellbeing is supported.

For children who prefer time for quiet focus, we create a cosy space or room in each setting to support this need.

Surbiton has a great community with many families who enjoy the areas parks and green space including Berrylands Nature Reserve, Fishponds Park and nearby Hinchley Wood.

Surbiton has many activities and attractions in and around the area, from sports and leisure facilities to soft play centres. Central London is within easy reach by bus or train for fun family days out.

Surbiton also has some excellent nurseries, primary and secondary schools, making it a great environment for children to thrive in education.

Why choose one of our nurseries in Surbiton?

We are proud of our fantastic childcare provision in Surbiton. With three wonderful nursery settings to choose from we are certain families will find a setting that suits your family as well as the learning and development needs of your child. And with the addition of a dedicated breakfast and after school club, children aged four to eleven years are supported around their primary school day too.

In each of our welcoming nurseries our teams provide nurturing and stimulating childcare to support children in Early Years education as they develop essential skills for learning and for life. Our teams offer a varied curriculum across our nursery settings with a focus on child led play or the curiosity approach that supports learning and encourages children to become independent learners, build self-esteem and have fun in our stimulating environment. Children learn through indoor and outdoor play and exploration in our nurturing environment, which fosters natural curiosity and development.

Our teams develop strong bonds with the children and great relationships with parents to ensure smooth communication, with feedback every day of the week on your child. We hold regular parent evenings and other family events where parents are invited to join to discover more about nursery life.

What Families Say

I have sent two children to this nursery both who have had a positive experience. The staff are nurturing and caring and really genuinely care for your kids. They have always gone on outings but now do lots including Spanish and football at two, plus forest school at three. Both of my daughters have always enjoyed going to nursery and have been cared for well. As someone with no family nearby the community and friendships my daughters and myself have made through this nursery have been invaluable.

My son absolutely loves going to Nursery (woodpeckers class), all the staff take so much time and effort in creating new activities each week. I would like to say a special thank you to who always goes l the extra mile and is very caring.

We are very happy with this nursery and with the care our son is getting. He really enjoys going every day and is always happy when we drop him off, which says a lot. Since starting here, we’ve noticed positive changes in him and he seems more settled and confident. It’s clear that the children are well looked after and cared for properly. The environment feels safe and friendly, and the facilities and outdoor space are great. Overall, we feel comfortable leaving our child here and are pleased with the experience so far.
