At Grandir UK, we are excited to announce our Winter Open Day, taking place across all our nurseries settings on either Friday 7th or Saturday 8th February 2025 (each nursery will be open on one of these dates). If you are considering enrolling your child for nursery or preschool this year, then this is your opportunity to discover what makes our nurseries so special.

Our Ethos

Our Open Day is designed for families with children aged 0 to 5 years who are seeking outstanding childcare and early years education. It’s the perfect chance to explore our nurseries, meet our dedicated teams, and learn how our unique Educational Programmes are tailored to support your child’s development. Plus, our friendly and qualified staff will provide clear information about the funding options available to you.

We take safeguarding seriously and our nurseries offer a safe, structured, warm and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and loved, enabling them to learn to socialise, share, and build friendships—all skills that make starting school easier when the time comes.

Across all our nurseries, we take pride in cultivating thoughtfully designed spaces—both indoors and outdoors—that spark curiosity, encourage creativity and nurture a love of learning. We invest in high-quality, curiosity-led equipment and resources that encourage imaginative play. During our Winter Open Day, you’ll get to walk through your chosen nurseries, check out the different educational areas such as sensory playrooms, mud kitchens, and themed play spaces, see how our teams support our children through each developmental stage and so much more! We believe that early education is more than just childcare. It’s about giving your child the tools they need to succeed not just in school, but in life.

What to Expect on the Day

At the Open Day, you’ll learn about our bespoke Educational Programmes, built around four key pillars:

These programmes are designed to help your child become well-rounded, confident, and ready to take on whatever comes their way.

We will also be launching our Parent Information Packs – designed with parents and caregivers in mind. We know that it can be information overload on the day, which is why we have created detailed information packs with our early years specialists to include the main details about our educational programmes, our mission and vision, our nutritional ethos, and more.

You and your child will also walk away with a craft gift that you can put on your fridge, that beautifully displays the heart and curriculum that nursery embodies.
