We’re thrilled to share some exciting news. Grandir UK has officially been awarded the Great Place to Work® Certification for 2025/2026!
We’re also proud to announce that we have been named among the top UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™, coming in at #44. This list recognises companies in the UK that are ensuring a reasonable balance of women and men across the organisation, removing barriers to women’s career advancement, and creating workplaces where all employees, regardless of gender, can flourish.
This isn’t just another badge of honour. It’s a heartfelt celebration of the amazing people who make up our organisation and the positive environment we’ve built together. Achieving both the Great Place to Work Certification and a place on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list reminds us just how important it is to keep our teams and their diverse experiences at the centre of everything we do.
At Grandir UK, delivering outstanding Early Years education is only part of our story. We’re just as passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels supported, inspired and able to thrive. These recognitions are a testament to the everyday commitment of our educators, nursery teams and support staff, and the strong workplace culture we’ve built together.
As part of the certification process, we invited our teams to share their honest thoughts through an employee survey. Their voices gave us insight into what’s working well and where we can continue to grow. And the result? Meaningful, valuable external validation that we’re on the right path. 82% of people said upon joining the company they were made to feel welcome, and 93% of people said they are treated fairly regardless of their sex.

Being work-certified means our people feel proud of their roles, trust the teams around them, and feel truly connected to their work. That sense of purpose and belonging is at the heart of an amazing employee experience, and that’s something we’re deeply proud of.
We know that when our teams feel happy and supported, the children in our care benefit too. That’s why we invest in professional development, well-being initiatives and career progression opportunities. It helps us not only retain high-quality talent but also nurture the next generation of Early Years leaders.

These official certifications are more than a title. It signals to current and future colleagues that Grandir UK is a place where people are valued, listened to and empowered to grow.
For job seekers, it shows we’re serious about offering more than just a job. We’re offering a meaningful place to belong. And as one of the sector’s leading company culture awards, this recognition also reinforces our standing as industry leaders in Early Years education.
It strengthens our employer brand, supports our recruitment pipeline, and helps us reach even more passionate professionals who want to make a real difference.
Our journey to achieving these incredible recognitions is all thanks to the voices of our team. Their responses to the employee survey and culture brief questionnaire gave us clear insight into what we’re doing well and where we can improve to enhance employee engagement even further.
Their input reflects our company’s commitment to building a culture based on trust, transparency and shared purpose, and it continues to shape how we grow and improve together.
We’ll be celebrating this amazing milestone across our nurseries, with our teams and through our digital channels, including social media images and upcoming press materials.
We’re so proud of this achievement and look forward to using the valuable insights Great Place To Work has provided us with to continually build on our culture and employee satisfaction.
Whether you’re already part of the Grandir UK family or thinking about joining us, we’d love for you to be part of our story. Together, we’re building a culture that celebrates growth, connection and care every single day. Explore our career opportunities here!
